I've stopped adding new posts for this blog for now. Actually, I stopped that 3 years ago, but since there still seems to be some real interest in this blog, I want to try to keep it up to date and let the viewers of it see what I'm doing everyday online, especially on social media. So on this page, you'll get to see what I'm up to during the week, because I'm going to share the photos, videos, and some of my status updates from TwitterPinterestInstagram, and hopefully eventually my YouTube page. And I hope you find this page interesting.

8/23/2021 - Hollywood Goddess Megan Fox in Los Angeles, in 2015.

Daily Mail: "Skintight outfits and alluring poses - it's a formula Megan Fox has mastered for her movies.

And when the stunner returned to work on Monday the routine did not appear to wane as she filmed scenes for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.

The 28-year-old was on the New York City set of the action film wearing skinny jeans, and she shifted her body at such an angle that flattered her already-enviable figure even more."

8/26/2021 - Douglas Barr, Lee Majors, and Heather Thomas, on ABC's The Fall Guy, I believe in 1981. I don't know much about this episode, so if someone has some real info about it, feel free to share.

Like with Catherine Bach , Heather Thomas gave millions of American men reasons to watch The Fall Guy all by herself, just to check her out every week. She was so sexy, so cute, gorgeous, looked great in her skin-tight denim jeans, which she wore almost every episode.

And like with Catherine Bach, the cameramen and producers always made sure there was great footage of her on every episode and she worked the camera so well.

9/02/2021 - Cliff Robertson and Hollywood Babydoll Lana Turner, in Love Has Many Faces, from 1965. This is one of my favorite soap operas.

Graham Russell: " Pete (Cliff Robertson) and Kit (Lana Turner) pouting through the pain aboard their yacht. Note Robertson's safari leisure suit - so atomic-era. Note too the glasses of brandy: this duo continuously knocks back brandy (in the blazing heat on the beach!) as if their lives depend on it. Taking a sip each time they do would be a fun drinking game. Interesting: in real life Turner was reportedly a hard drinker, but onscreen her drunks scenes are wildly unconvincing...

6/08/2022 - Rik Schneider: Brian Dennehy as serial murderer John Wayne Gacy, in Fox's 1992 film To Catch a Killer. I believe it's a very excellent and accurate TV film about John Gacy.

Wikipedia: "As he investigates the missing person report of a teenager named Christopher Gant (based on Gacy's final victim, Robert Piest), Des Plaines, IL detective Lt. Joseph Kozenczak (Riley) becomes concerned that local businessman John Wayne Gacy (Dennehy) may be responsible for this as well as many other disappearances. However, when he and his team are ready to arrest Gacy, their evidence is viewed as being circumstantial. Worst of all, everyone (including Kozenczak's superiors) view Gacy as a respectable pillar of society. Meanwhile, Gacy himself begins a sadistic game of cat-and-mouse as he tries in every way to manipulate and outwit the police.

After eventually achieving two search warrants, Kozenczak finds a large amount of incriminating evidence, and later 29 bodies buried throughout John Gacy's property; the remaining four are found dumped in a nearby river, including Gant's remains. Afterwards, he is charged with the rape and murder of 33 boys and young men and convicted, being sentenced to death."

7/29/2022 - Rik Schneider: I seriously don't think there is a better all around running back in the NFL, at least from the 1980s, than Marcus Allen. And I would even include The Great Walter Payton, since Marcus had more football speed and was a better receiver.

I also think if Marcus's own boss All Davis hadn't sabotage his career, the Los Angeles Raiders would have not only been a lot better in the 1980s, but perhaps the team of the 1980s, assuming they also replaced QB Jim Plunkett with a sold starting QB.

Critics of Marcus Allen say he was either too slow or too small to be a great running back. Even though every time you see a football video of him, he's either running down the field with no one there to catch him, bursting through a hole for a big gain, or breaking tackles on the way to the end zone. A lot of NFL fans and critics confuse track speed with football speed. As well as weight with power. They are not the same things.

Tom Hall: "Marcus Allen Hall of  Fame Running back and one of the best football players of alltime. When looking at the man’s all time stats it’s important to note that Al Davis had a vendetta against him. He played fullback for Bo without complaint then was forced to sit and watch 2 whole seasons before moving on to KC where he won the Comeback Player of the Year Award. Davis’ irrational hate for Marcus not only impacted Allen’s career it also hurt the franchise.

9/09/2022 - Rik Schneider: The relationship that Sam Rothstein (played by Robert De Niro) had with Ginger (played by Sharon Stone) is the perfect example of why men, especially wealthy men, should never marry any woman, whose not in love with him.

Binge Society: "What’s happening in this Casino movie clip?
Ace has entered the restaurant where Ginger and Lester are and sits down with them, telling Lester to stay away from her. Ace then takes Ginger outside where she sees Ace's hotel men severely beating Lester, while Nicky watches. Ginger later goes to Nicky asking why Ace had to do that. Nicky states the Ace loves her very much and she should try working it out with him."

But that's not important, at least as far as how great of an entertainer she is. She's the top female badass in Hollywood, because of her physical and personal talents as an actress. Esquire: "Pam Grier was the queen of '70s blaxploitation cinema, a statuesque beauty equally skilled at talking trash and beating bad guys senseless. And none of Grier's roles is more famous than Foxy Brown, "the meanest chick in town" (according to the film's poster), who poses as a prostitute to save exploited women from the clutches of a drug syndicate that murdered her boyfriend. In a 1982 playoff game against the Miami Dolphins that became known as “The Epic in Miami”, Winslow caught a playoff record 13 passes for 166 yards and a touchdown, while also blocking a field goal with seconds remaining to send the game to overtime in one of the greatest single player efforts in NFL history.
What made Winslow's performance all the more memorable was that during the game he was treated for a pinched nerve in his shoulder, dehydration, severe cramps, and received three stitches in his lower lip. Starks 23: "86-87 Blazers was an incredible offensive team. Led by Kiki Vandeweghe and Clyde Drexler, a total of seven players averaged in double figures in scoring that year. (This is probably an NBA record shared with the Showtime Lakers and maybe some other teams. But since I didn't have a chance to look it up I can't say I'm 100% sure). Considering the Bulls roster that year it was almost a necessity for Jordan to have a high scoring game in order for Chicago to have a chance.

Playing partly on small forward, Jordan started the game with ultra-high intensity. With jumpers and drives he first got Drexler into foul trouble, then Jerome Kersey. Finished with 53 points on 20-34 (59%) shooting. Also assisted big baskets at the end and came up with a clean block to seal the game in the crunch even though a bogus foul was called. 53 was his regular season-career high at that time.

There was a small problem in the original broadcast and that is at the beginning of the second half, the announcers faced a technical problem and it was fixed halfway through the 4th quarter. So, in that period there's no commentary but everything is pretty obvious, so it shouldn't be a major problem I think."

12/05/2022 - Rik Schneider: The Blazers-Sonics matchup should've always been one of the best rivalries in the NBA. They're only about 3 hours apart and have both been consistent winers and playoff teams. Great game at the Seattle Coliseum.

Portland Trail Blazers: "On December 1st, 1990, the Portland Trail Blazers erased a 14-point 4th quarter deficit and defeated the Seattle Supersonics in a dramatic triple overtime finish. Terry Porter led the team with 38 points."

Larry Legend: "Great duel between prime Magic Johnson (86/87 regular season) and young Clyde Drexler.

Magic Johnson: 25 points, 16 assists, 12/21 FG.

Clde Drexler: 30 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 12/25 FG.

12/09/2022 - Rik Schneider: I think I'm with Mark Gearhart on this one, because I'm also bias. Growing up in Bethesda, Maryland in the 1980s, Eddie Murray was my favorite baseball player and the Orioles were my favorite team. One of the top 10 two-way 1B ever. Someone with 3000 hits, 1900 RBI, 500 HR, did it with a 287 avg, didn't strike out a lot, multiple time All Star and Gold Glove winner. Just a great, all around, under appreciated MLB player.

I think this photo was shot during the 1983 World Series, at Philadelphia Veterans Stadium, against the Phillies. But I don't know for sure.

Mark Gearhart: I'll probably catch some grief on this one. Remember I'm from Baltimore originally so my opinion will be biased. This was the rookie card of what I feel was perhaps baseball's greatest clutch hitter during his playing time. Eddie Murray was the1977 Rookie of the Year. During his career he was always amongst League leaders in most offensive categories. I once watched Sparky Anderson when managing the Detroit Tigers intentionally walk Eddie Murray in the first inning with the bases loaded. He was that feared and respected as a hitter.
Eddie had a dismal world series performance in 79, and agin in 83 until he hit two consecutive homers in game 5. Remember he had the game winning hit in 95 that sent the Indians to the world series.
I personally watched this man carry a ball club. When teamed with Cal Ripken they were unstoppable in 83.
A no doubt first ballet hall of fame wit over 3,000 hits and 500 homers. He's in select company.

12/15/2022 - Rik Schneider: When you are think about Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the number you want to think about is the number 33. Not his jersey number, but a 19 time NBA All Star, 6 time NBA MVP, 6 time NBA Finals champion, and 2 time NBA Finals MVP. He's also the greatest offensive player the NBA has ever known and one of the best defensive players ever as well.

If you are Millennial or even younger NBA fan today, those are the numbers you want to look at when talking about the greatest NBA player ever is 33 for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Not his jersey number, but what he accomplished as an NBA player. Because no one comes close to 33 as far as what Kareem accomplished. Kareem is simply the best two-way player the NBA has ever seen.

With the Eagles trailing and with 22 seconds left, for some reason, Eagles head coach Marion Campbell had kicker Tony Franklin try a 62-yard field goal, which would've been one yard off of the NFL record set by Tom Dempsey in 1970. And after the game, Campbell's explanation for why he tried the field goal in that spot defied all logic. 2/15/2023 - Rik Schneider: The Blazers and Bulls, from 1988. The two best two-guards ever (at least in my opinion) Clyde Drexler and Michael Jordan, one-on-one.

Hoops Encyclopedia: "MJ always stepped it up a notch against Clyde Drexler since Portland passed on MJ in the draft because of him. Hitting 10 of his first 11 shots, MJ won the battle but Clyde's 42pts neutralized MJ's 52 to win the war - this time. Other than MJ, sadly, the rest of the Bulls didn't show up and their 20 point deficit was just a tad too much for MJ to outdo on his own - this time."

2/16/2023 - Rik Schneider: Michael Jordan had score a lot of points, for the Bulls to have any shot at beating that 1988 Seattle Sonics team, that was loaded with firepower.

Hoops Encyclopedia: "These very rare off-shooting nights were my favorite nights during this young-MJ era; the reason being that I didn't want MJ shooting jumpers back then - I wanted to see hang-time, triple-clutch, one-handed drives with the nonpareil body control and finesse. I wanted to see him rely on his singular athleticism because chances were greater that something spectacular was going to happen. And just like that, with the game on the line, MJ pulled off the insane fast-break leaner to close the deal. Even with the off night, the numbers were monstrous and to catch that one move that only he could do was why you watched."

2/27/2023 - Rik Schneider: Steve Largent really is one of the best NFL WR's ever, probably top 20. You probably couldn't cover him today, with average NFL team throwing the ball 55-60% of the time, with all the rules geared to promote more passing and points. But there's a solid list of WR's who are better, including from the 1980s, like Art Monk, Jerry Rice, Al Toon, Mike Quick, and perhaps a few others.

8/26/2023 - The Daily Post: I’ve always looked at the Oakland Coliseum, as a baseball park, where they also played football. You look at the baseball configuration, before the Raiders came back and it was a beautiful place for the Athletics. But you just at this photo and you can see that the Oakland Coliseum wasn’t well suited for football, similar to Baltimore Memorial Stadium or Milwaukee County Stadium, Cleveland Municipal Stadium, Shea Stadium, and other so-called, multi-purpose stadiums in America.

@NFL In The 1970s: Remembering the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum.
In the 1970 Oakland Raiders highlight film, their home stadium was described as “majestic.” The Oakland Alameda County Coliseum may not have lived up to that adjective, but it did provide the Oakland Raiders with a load of memories and an impressive home advantage during most of the decade of the 1970s. The Raiders went to the NFL playoffs in seven out of eight seasons from 1970-1977.
The Coliseum, which had a 54,616-seat capacity for football games during the 1970s, was built below sea level on the East San Francisco Bay. That meant that whenever it rained, the natural grass field surface quickly turned into natural mud…and lots of it. The Coliseum was also a multi-purpose stadium. The Raiders shared it with their Major League Baseball counterparts, the Athletics. An entire section of stands 100 yards long was moved in place for football games.
The Raiders left the Coliseum twice in their history, once for Los Angeles, and once for Las Vegas. But when they were in the Coliseum, you had the distinct feeling that Oakland’s fans, namely members of “The Black Hole,” were right in the fight with the team. Let’s face it…that Black Hole was something else. Nobody dressed up or behaved like those folks. In any one typical Raiders game as the decade drew to a close, you could observe fans in the Black Hole participate in simulated gladiator fights, offer members of the opposing team a multitude of obscene gestures, and tongue-kiss their girlfriends whenever the television cameras panned on them. It was a veritable circus.
Ah, but such are memories. It was indeed a special place and a special time in history. What are your memories of the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum?

11/14/2023 - @The Daily Post: I think what made Steve Largent special, is that he was a great possession, as well as big play receiver. You needed a 1st down, he was the guy to throw the ball too. You needed a big play, he was the guy who would either get open for the big play, or take a short pass for a big play. Critics say that he didn't have good speed, but how many slow receivers averaged more than 16 yards per reception, with over 800 receptions and 100 TD's. He was a great all around receiver.

@Michael Slack: Seahawks WR Steve Largent makes a catch to tie the NFL record 127 consecutive games with a reception as Redskins LB Rich Millot tries to bring him down. 9/27/86 Steve Largent tied Harold Carmichael's record with this catch near the end of the first half.
