The first comment about Ronald Reagan, was from a speech that he gave in support of Senator Barry Goldwater's 1964 presidential campaign. Everything there is probably pretty accurate as far as what Reagan thought not just about government health care and health insurance, but what he thought about socialism in general. In the mid 1960s, there was a real fear amongst Conservatives in America, because of President Lyndon Johnson's Great Society agenda, that America was moving to becoming a socialist state. That actually never happened and it's not happening today. The rest of the comments that Reagan supposedly have about seat belts and color TV, I think that's just Funny Time With Bill Maher.
